Abstract:
Point locations for the largest city in each Montana county, selected from the U.S. Geological Survey Geographic Names Information System. These are the same as the county seats, except for Madison County, where Ennis, the largest town, is in the layer, but Virginia City, the county seat, is not.

The locations of Circle and Choteau were incorrect in the GNIS data. These have been corrected.
